Victoria Falls town is receiving more visitors than ever and is becoming a bit of a vibrant travel hub for people who want to see the Falls, partake in some adventure activities, and then head off on safari. With all this activity comes excellent opportunities for new businesses to keep travellers busy. More restaurants and bars are opening up in this little tourist town and soon visitors will be spoilt for choice when it comes to selecting a restaurant. At the moment there are some delightful options and we thought we’d shine a spotlight on of the newer establishments on the scene, Zambezi House.
Walking into Zambezi House is an absolute treat for the senses, visually stunning with a special ambiance and serving delicious food and refreshing drinks. This new restaurant is exactly what was missing in Vic Falls town. Set along the banks of the Zambezi River, the absolutely magnificent restaurant has been created from a few shipping containers that have been gorgeously decorated. The style is eclectic, mixing amazing African art and artefacts with cool contemporary design elements. The restaurant believes that food brings people together and for this reason encourages guests to share a variety of items from their concept menu. Zambezi House serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a brilliant selection of wines and delectable desserts. Anything from pizza, to bar snacks, to vegetarian meals, to more local flavours are on offer. The staff and especially the host Carl, are incredibly warm and friendly and do their best to make guests feel most welcome, it’s Zimbabwean hospitality at its finest! A great spot for all times of the day, but some would say it’s best enjoyed during the daytime when you can gaze over the flowing Zambezi River. The ambience and the location are perfect, it is truly one of the gems of Vic Falls. A great reflection of a beautiful country and characterful people.
Why not give them a try on your next visit?
