Helicopter flight, Victoria Falls: A great opportunity to experience the Victoria Falls from an incredibly different perspective. The helicopter seating is designed so that all passengers have a good view of the Falls and the spectacular scenery below. During this 15-minute flight you will be able to take amazing photographs of one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

While this appears to be a short experience, the amount of ground you will cover in 15 minutes is amazing – you will see the length of Victoria Falls and the flowing Zambezi River. From this height, animal spotting is unbelievable – see herds of elephants crossing the river, birds of prey scattering trees, prides of lions cooling off in the shade, hippos splashing in the river and much more. Our advice is: make sure you camera is fully charged and you have a spare memory stick – the photo opportunities are incredible.

You can only truly appreciate the sheer magnitude of the Victoria Falls from a helicopter flight. The helicopter will complete a series of clockwise and anti clockwise turns. This allows passengers on both sides of the helicopter fantastic views and photo opportunities of the Victoria Falls and the Batoka Gorge below.

“Once the helicopter has completed a series of orbits you will begin your return to the helicopter pad. You will fly upriver for a short distance. The views of the Zambezi River from the helicopter are magnificent.  Once you have flown over Kalunda Island you will take a left turn and prepare for your landing.”
