One of the most remarkable safari experiences in Southern Africa is undoubtedly the Chobe National Park. Chobe Game Lodge is uniquely situated within the borders of the Chobe National Park overlooking the Chobe River. It is here where you will most likely witness one of your best wildlife experiences. This 5-star Chobe Game Lodge is the perfect choice for travellers in search of a unique game experience while staying in an exquisite environment where attention to detail is main priority.

All rooms are river-facing with air-conditioned rooms and private terraces. Four additional exclusive suites have a separate lounge, private terraces and plunge pools.

Chobe Game Lodge is designed as a haven of peace and privacy – where relaxation is effortless and you can enjoy your own space. With six comfortably furnished viewing decks, a riverside boma, two bars, six different lounges and four dining locations, a comfy chair or lounger is never far away, each with a different perspective on the wilderness that surrounds the lodge. A large swimming pool provides welcome relief during hot afternoons and there is always a waiter on hand to bring you refreshments from the bar.

  1. Luxury Lodge

High end hotel on the banks of the Chobe river. Accomodation was outstanding, as was the service. We were well looked after with a private lunch and a romantic dinner set up in recognition of a few celebrations. We really enjoyed the boat safaris and getting up close and personal with the herds of elephants on the banks of the river and the antics of the baboons. Our game drives were less eventful for ‘big’ sightings (but that’s the reality of wildlife viewing for you) however still plenty of animals to see and good to get a different perspective of the river. Thanks for a nice couple of days.

  2. Splendid Safari

We stayed at Chobe Game Lodge for 3 nights and the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic; excellent guide (Connie) and Safari experiences, accommodation, food, service, lovely staff and views. Couldn’t wish for a better experience!

  3. Amazing views

Great facility with great food and AMAZING views. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The wait, bar and housekeeping staff are very friendly and professional. The park is great with LOTS of elephants, lions, impala, monkeys, baboons and warthogs. They offer both road vehicle and boat based safaris. The only downside is the number of road vehicles in the public park. On spotting a leopard, there were 10+ vehicles crammed on the road like a new york traffic jam, which made it difficult to see. Being a national park, none of the vehicles are permitted off road, so everyone was crammed on top of each other. This comes with being a public park vs a private game reserve. Because the lodge is the only structure in the park however, you get out earlier than anyone else so you to get an hour or so of peace. The boat safari is great as it offers a different view and more peaceful experience than the road vehicles.
